Once onboarded, clients using QuickBooks Online can invite AddLedger as their accountant. The invitation is accepted through the appropriate accountant-access workflow, allowing our team to work on the client's books without requiring the client's personal QBO login credentials.
Documents such as statements, reports, and supporting records can be exchanged through approved cloud-based document-sharing platforms such as OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox, depending on the engagement.
Yes. AddLedger can coordinate with your existing CPA or tax professional and provide organized financial information ready for your CPA.
Client accounting data remains with the client's information. AddLedger accesses and processes the information only for the agreed service requirements, subject to the engagement terms and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Where payroll support is included, we work with the payroll information and supporting records provided through the agreed workflow. The exact process depends on the client's payroll system and the scope of payroll support included in the engagement.
We first assess the condition of the existing records and identify the information required to complete the engagement. Where necessary, cleanup or catch-up bookkeeping can be performed before ongoing services begin.
AddLedger uses cloud-based accounting, document-sharing, and communication tools to deliver accounting services remotely while maintaining a structured workflow with the client.
Book updates and delivery timelines depend on the agreed service scope, transaction volume, availability of required information, and the applicable service-level commitment.
Any discrepancy identified during reconciliation is investigated using the available supporting documentation and relevant transaction records. Exceptions are resolved or communicated before final reporting, according to the agreed workflow.
